Thomas Gretton | Certified Mental Performance Consultant FL

 About Me

Hello and welcome to Tackle Growth! I go by Tom and I am originally from Worcester, England. I moved to the United States in 2016 to pursue graduate education in sport, exercise, and performance psychology, as well as clinical mental health counseling. I have various interests including sport, music, weight-lifting, and animal advocacy, but my absolute passion is Rugby Union. I competed at various levels as a Rugby player including academy and university levels in the United Kingdom, before now working in the sport as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant. I believe that our journey towards potential is unique and timeless, and with that in mind, I look forward to exploring your potential together at Tackle Growth.

  • Over the past decade, I have worked with various performers including international Rugby Union officials and players, Olympic athletes, NCAA Division I athletes and coaches, and world-renowned musicians. I have supported performers with different demands such as pre-performance anxiety, interpersonal conflict, leadership, performance under pressure, and much more. I have also worked extensively with organizational leadership groups to help improve the environment and culture in which their performers operate within. As a mental performance mentor (certified by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology), I have provided both individual and group mentorship to graduate students and early career professionals in sport, exercise, and performance psychology. As a mental health counselor, I have worked with adult individuals and groups encountering challenges such as grief and loss, meaninglessness, and relational conflict.
